About the Role
Samsara Buildtech, a company operating in the real estate sector in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to manage comprehensive human resource functions. This position covers recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, compliance, engagement, performance management, development, reporting, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain employee documentation such as offer letters, confirmations, promotions, and transfers, managing the entire employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
- Track attendance, leave, late arrivals, and absenteeism; coordinate accurate payroll inputs and collaborate with Finance for timely salary payments.
- Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies and compliance with statutory labor laws, coordinating with external agencies as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee queries, manage grievances, organize engagement activities, and contribute to fostering a positive work environment.
- Support performance appraisal processes, assist in setting objectives, and facilitate employee development initiatives.
- Identify and coordinate training programs, maintaining records and evaluating effectiveness.
- Generate and maintain HR MIS reports tracking recruitment metrics, manpower costing, attrition, and other HR analytics.
- Oversee employee exit formalities including exit interviews, clearance, and full & final settlements ensuring asset recovery when needed.
- Manage daily HR operations including employee records, systems access, and confidentiality of information, collaborating with various departments.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate or postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant domains.
- Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in HR Generalist roles.
- Well-versed in recruiting, employee relations, HR operations, payroll, attendance management, and HR policy enforcement.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with HRMS, ERP, attendance, and payroll software systems.
- Capable of managing day-to-day HR responsibilities independently and collaborating efficiently with management and staff.
