Overview
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep a long-term care facility clean, sanitary, and safe. This role supports a high standard of care for residents and contributes to a positive experience for everyone in the building. Responsibilities
- Carry out everyday housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and offices.
- Follow approved cleaning and sanitation methods while meeting safety expectations.
- Keep cleaning activity records and alert a supervisor to any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Apply infection prevention practices and universal precautions to maintain a healthy environment.
- Provide courteous, professional interactions with residents, staff members, and visitors.
- Take on other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administrators, and HCSG leaders.
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to follow spoken and written directions consistently.
- Residence within the service area is required.
