Role Summary
This position is for a game developer who will work on moving existing mobile games from JavaScript to the Apollo Framework using C++ and DirectX. The role also involves building and maintaining efficient gaming systems, working closely with multiple teams, and improving code quality through reviews, debugging, testing, and ongoing refinements.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert existing mobile games from JavaScript to the Apollo Framework using C++ and DirectX.
- Build and support fast, stable gaming systems developed in C++ and DirectX.
- Work in coordination with development, design, art, QA, and project teams.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and regular product improvements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++17 or newer) and DirectX 9/11/12 in game development.
- At least 2 years of experience working with both C++ and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Prior experience in porting games or integrating them across platforms or frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Git or similar version control tools.
- Experience creating and maintaining unit tests.
- Good communication, teamwork, planning, and prioritization skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience in gaming or iGaming environments.
- Exposure to mobile game or web-based game development.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools or processes.
