Role overview

As a Full Stack Engineer focused on backend systems, you will develop and maintain APIs and services that support identity sharing, real-time analytics, onboarding, and QR event processing. You will help shape architecture, improve reliability and performance, and keep abstractions clean across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design scalable systems that support user onboarding and QR event ingestion.
• Work closely with frontend, mobile, and data teams to ship connected product features.
• Strengthen observability, test coverage, and service performance.
• Contribute to new product development from early concept through launch in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering, preferably in fast-moving product teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and solid knowledge of asynchronous application design.
• Exposure to GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of system architecture, data modelling, and API security.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Experience with integrations and MCP.
