Role Overview
Due to an internal promotion, Oaks Queenstown Shores is seeking a full-time Front Office Supervisor with solid front office experience, strong leadership ability, and a genuine commitment to outstanding guest service.
Key Duties
- Guide and assist the front office team to create memorable guest experiences and ensure every guest receives a friendly welcome.
- Act as a positive example for others, applying your knowledge to encourage the team and uphold high service standards.
- Monitor and complete daily operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs smoothly so arrivals and departures run without disruption.
- Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally, with the aim of preserving strong satisfaction levels.
Working Pattern
The roster rotates across Monday through Sunday. Scheduled shifts fall between 7:00am and 11:00pm. An immediate start is available.
Candidate Profile
To perform well in this position, you should bring proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and encourage a team. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous. A strong background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel or resort environment, is also important, along with a clear understanding of guest service expectations and day-to-day operations.
You should be highly customer-focused, able to remain professional and positive in demanding situations, and capable of managing your time effectively to keep priorities on track. A polished professional appearance is expected. Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules is required based on business needs.
