Kimberly-Clark is hiring an EHS Officer for its manufacturing site in Dammam. Key responsibilities

  • Assist in building and rolling out EHS programs aligned with legal obligations and internal standards.
  • Carry out routine safety checks on the production floor to spot risks, suggest corrective actions, and confirm compliance.
  • Support investigations into accidents and incidents, including identifying root causes and following through on corrective actions.
  • Run EHS training and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Keep EHS documentation current, including training records and incident-related reports.
  • Support both internal and external audits related to EHS.
  • Help manage contractor safety activities at the site.
  • Lead the site Emergency Response Team and contribute to maintaining emergency response procedures and plans.
  • Use Lean Management principles in day-to-day EHS work and improvement initiatives.
  • Compile and submit EHS reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis for monitoring and compliance.
  • Track updates in EHS regulations and ensure the site remains compliant with changing requirements.

Profile and qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required, or at least 2 years of experience in the EHS field.
  • Saudi Occupational Safety and Health Personnel Program certification is required.
  • Prior EHS experience is expected; manufacturing exposure is preferred, and co-op or internship experience is also acceptable.
  • Good knowledge of risk assessment methods and hazard identification techniques is needed.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills are required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports is important.
  • NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar safety certifications are an added advantage.
  • Saudi nationality is required.
