Job Summary
We are seeking an EHS Engineer to oversee environmental, health, and safety compliance on our photovoltaic solar project. This position is crucial for implementing robust EHS programs, conducting thorough site evaluations, and fostering a strong safety-conscious environment among all project staff and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee adherence to all relevant local, national, and international environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards specific to PV solar projects.
- Execute comprehensive risk assessments and job safety analyses to pinpoint potential hazards and formulate effective control measures.
- Undertake routine site inspections and audits to verify compliance with EHS standards and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Deliver EHS training sessions and brief toolbox talks for site personnel and contractors, emphasizing safety protocols and optimal practices.
- Uphold all HSE regulations and actively cultivate a site-wide safety culture.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to ascertain underlying causes and propose appropriate remedial actions.
