Role Overview

SmartStay is looking for a responsible driver to help keep daily operations running smoothly. The position centers on moving housekeeping staff, company team members, and goods between apartments and other operational locations across Dubai in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

This role also requires a cooperative mindset, with a willingness to step in and support housekeeping and other teams whenever business needs increase.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely while following all road rules and traffic regulations.
• Move staff, passengers, and goods to assigned destinations on time.
• Keep the vehicle tidy, safe, and fit for use at all times.
• Carry out regular checks on the vehicle and flag any repair or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate logs for trips, distance covered, and fuel usage.
• Help load and unload supplies, equipment, and other items when needed.
• Deliver operational materials and guest amenities as required.
• Present yourself professionally when dealing with guests and colleagues.
• Support housekeeping and other departments during busy operational periods.
• Take part in cross-functional training and work closely with the wider team.
• Handle other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold a valid UAE manual driving license for light vehicles; a heavy vehicle license will be considered an advantage.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience is required, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong familiarity with Dubai routes and navigation tools is important.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are needed.
• Should be able to stay composed and professional under pressure.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and open to flexible working hours.
• Willingness to support different departments based on operational demand is essential.
