Role details
Worker subtype: Temporary. Time type: Time as Reported / Per Diem. Scheduled weekly hours: As Scheduled. Compensation range: $21.36 - $29.90.
Pay is set within the posted range and may vary based on market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
What you will do
You will help build methods for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for the assigned area. The role involves using statistical techniques to interpret information, preparing presentations and reports, and working through data collection needs, technical issues, and ad hoc reporting requests.
You will also gather and document business requirements, help translate them into functional and system specifications, support database accuracy, and contribute to reporting, audit support, and business documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support the collection and compilation of business metric data used to assess programs, processes, or practices, while safeguarding confidentiality according to policy.
- Help develop data-based business solutions and create reports that address analysis needs.
- Prepare supporting documentation, assist with audits, and compile required materials when needed.
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of assigned databases on an ongoing basis.
- Summarize findings into reports and recommendations, and collaborate with other departments when required.
- Contribute to standard operating procedures, process maps, code manuals, and project plans for major reporting initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistical analysis, database management, or a closely related field, plus 1 year of experience in data analysis or customer resource management systems.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well-developed organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Preferred knowledge of statistics and statistical methods.
- Preferred advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Preferred ability to present data visually.
