Consultant Trainee - MIL Testing

Role Overview

This trainee opportunity is based in Chennai and is suited to candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience, including freshers. The role centers on model-in-the-loop testing and related verification activities for automotive software and systems.

Technical Knowledge Needed

• Working familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Understanding of model-based development practices.
• Awareness of MIL, SIL, and HIL testing approaches.
• Knowledge of automotive components such as ECUs, sensors, and actuators.
• Exposure to communication standards, especially CAN, with LIN considered an added advantage.
• Basic programming knowledge in C or Python is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and run MIL test cases using the relevant software requirements as a base.
• Check Simulink models for verification and validation purposes.
• Review simulation outputs to spot issues and defects.
• Document test outcomes and keep testing records up to date.
• Follow automotive development procedures and quality expectations.

Eligibility

Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics are eligible to apply.
