Role overview
The Client Services Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding client service while combining leadership, operational discipline, and process improvement. The role involves guiding a team, raising service quality, and building a collaborative environment focused on client needs.
This position reports to the Head of Client Services and is based remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Direct, coach, and support a team of client service associates, including setting expectations and carrying out regular performance reviews.
- Plan team capacity, ensure proper coverage, and work across functions so clients across different time zones receive timely and consistent support.
- Encourage ownership, continuous improvement, and a strong client-focused mindset within the team.
- Create, improve, and maintain service standards, workflows, and operating playbooks, while making sure the team follows them.
- Manage day-to-day operations, confirm that cases are processed correctly, and ensure service-level agreements are achieved.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in prime brokerage or a related capital markets environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop people, including performance management and daily service-team oversight.
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Solid problem-solving ability and experience coordinating multiple parties toward quick resolution.
- Careful attention to detail, along with a strong focus on controls and risk awareness.
