The Opportunity
This position plays an important part in the Advice function by assisting advisers in delivering quality outcomes for members. The role involves preparing advice materials, coordinating with external fund providers, and putting recommendations into action so tasks are completed correctly and within required timeframes.
You will work closely with a small adviser group and engage with external stakeholders such as superannuation funds and platforms. Your contribution will help ensure a smooth process from advice recommendation through to implementation.
The role also includes supporting members with general queries, including in-person interactions, to create a welcoming and helpful experience. It combines coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving, while offering a strong entry point for someone wanting to grow in financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist advisers with the preparation of advice documents, application forms, and client-facing materials
- Carry out financial advice instructions with accuracy and efficiency
- Work with external fund providers and platforms to progress applications and verify details
- Serve as a contact point for members, including face-to-face conversations, supporting member engagement
- Keep client files, records, and workflow systems organised and up to date
- Complete work in accordance with compliance requirements and regulatory obligations
- Provide support with office coordination and other administrative tasks as needed
About You
This role is suited to someone with some exposure to financial planning or a related field such as superannuation, tax, or wider financial services, and who is ready to build on that experience. A working understanding of the basics of advice will be beneficial.
Success in this position depends on attitude as much as experience. You should be comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, able to support advisers, and confident working with different stakeholders. A proactive mindset, openness to feedback, and a genuine desire to learn are important.

Work Location and Arrangement
This role can be based in Adelaide or Hobart. The position is onsite, and you will be expected to spend 60% of your working time in the office.
