About the roleOrbit Cover is looking for a Business Development Executive to support growth through partnerships, outreach, and relationship management. The company automates flight-delay claim payouts by detecting delays from live flight data, validating them without customer action, and sending money via UPI in under 7 seconds.Business development and outreachFind and connect with potential partners, enterprise accounts, travel businesses, fintech companies, and distribution channels.Run outbound prospecting campaigns using phone calls, emails, professional networking platforms, events, and other creative channels.Set up, coordinate, and manage meetings with senior decision-makers.Maintain a strong and active pipeline of qualified opportunities.Discovery and qualificationHold discovery discussions to understand customer needs, operating processes, pain points, and business goals.Use thoughtful qualification questions to evaluate opportunities effectively.Assess fit for each account and focus on the most promising prospects first.Collect market intelligence, client feedback, and sector insights to inform growth decisions.Partnerships and relationship managementBuild and strengthen relationships with insurers, brokers, corporate partners, and other ecosystem stakeholders.Represent the company professionally in meetings, presentations, and external conversations.Develop durable relationships with prospects, customers, and strategic allies.Founder supportWork directly with the Founder on business development initiatives and growth opportunities.Support decisions with market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.Help prioritize opportunities and contribute to go-to-market planning.Process and executionKeep CRM records updated and make sure outreach activity is tracked consistently.Follow structured sales workflows while looking for ways to improve them.Own targets, reporting, and pipeline management.Test and assess new acquisition channels, outreach approaches, and growth experiments.Who can applyThis role is open to candidates with at least 1 year of experience.Salary and termsThe compensation offered is INR 5,00,000 to 8,00,000 per year. The position is full-time and remote, with work from home as the location. There is 1 opening available. The role should begin immediately, and the application deadline is 2026-07-05 23:59:59.Additional requirementsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Very good English communication skills.Hindi fluency is preferred.Comfort engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.Good research and information-gathering ability.Ability to write professional emails, proposals, and outreach messages.Comfortable using Google Workspace, ChatGPT, CRM tools, LinkedIn, and spreadsheets.High ownership and accountability.Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.Curious approach with the ability to ask sharp questions.Strong execution focus and proactive problem-solving.Ability to work in fast-moving startup environments and handle ambiguity.Persistence and resilience while staying professional.Relationship-oriented mindset focused on long-term value.Trustworthy, transparent, and ethical communication style.Enjoys meeting people and building meaningful professional relationships.About the companyOrbitCover automatically pays out flight-delay claims before travelers even collect their luggage.
