Bartender

Role overview

This position is for a bartender at The St. Regis Singapore, part of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. The role is a full-time, non-management position based at 29 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247911.

What you will do

• Prepare beverages for guests by following the exact recipes and using proper measuring methods.
• Open, serve, and handle wine and champagne service.
• Keep the bar, service stations, tables, and related equipment clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Prepare fresh garnishes and make sure ice, glassware, and paper supplies are stocked.
• Move supplies to the bar setup area as needed.
• Clean used glassware and clear soiled items from the bar and tables to the designated area.
• Monitor supply levels and communicate restocking needs in advance.
• Handle all payment types, balance the cash bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve differences, and securely deposit receipts.
• Safeguard beverages, cabinets, coolers, and storage areas.
• Carry out all closing procedures.

• Report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a polished personal appearance and a professional uniform.
• Protect confidential information and company property.
• Greet guests warmly, respond to their needs, and thank them sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Build positive relationships with teammates and support shared goals.
• Meet quality standards and complete additional duties assigned by supervisors.
• Be able to read and verify information visually in different formats.
• Be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and working in narrow, uneven, slippery, or elevated spaces.

Preferred background

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is needed.
