About the Role

Simi Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL. This position is crucial for executing the firm's real estate investment strategy, with a primary focus on industrial real estate. The Analyst will be involved in all stages of the deal lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting to due diligence, leasing, and asset management for both existing properties and new acquisitions. This role offers a significant opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership within an entrepreneurial environment, contributing directly to the growth of a vertically integrated investment and operating platform. While the role emphasizes advanced financial modeling and investment analysis, it also provides broad exposure to industrial, multifamily, and retail real estate asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Perform detailed financial underwriting, including modeling, comparable analysis, and sensitivity testing to support investment decisions.
• Prepare compelling investment committee materials for review and approval.
• Assist in lease negotiations and collaborate with asset management to develop and implement strategic business plans for properties, focusing on leasing, expense control, and capital projects.
• Coordinate with property management and external vendors to oversee operational performance, property conditions, and capital expenditures.
• Undertake site visits to evaluate property conditions, engage with tenants, and understand local market dynamics.
• Facilitate seamless execution of acquisition, leasing, and asset-level initiatives by coordinating with internal departments such as legal, construction, finance, and development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industrial real estate market trends, tenant demand, and competitive landscapes in key markets.
• Support capital raising efforts and monitor the performance of the firm's real estate portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in real estate acquisitions or asset management.
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of real estate capital markets, fundamental analysis, and risk-adjusted pricing; prior experience in industrial real estate is advantageous.
• Exhibit self-motivation, a results-driven approach, and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Maintain advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant real estate underwriting/lease management software.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a closely related field.
