Role Summary
This opening is for a Member of Technical Staff focused on frontier AI work. The position is fully remote and full-time, with a mission to advance advanced AI models and systems through hands-on research and engineering.
Compensation
The stated payout range is $600K to $2000K per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, fine-tune, and improve advanced AI architectures and algorithms.
- Drive research efforts aimed at improving model efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.
- Work with teams across functions to bring AI capabilities into live production environments.
- Document research outcomes through reports, whitepapers, and conference-ready submissions.
- Test and compare new models, frameworks, and hardware accelerators to assess their effectiveness.
Required Background
- A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related area, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of deep learning tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with large-scale distributed training and methods for model optimization.
- Familiarity with AI hardware and accelerator systems, including GPUs and TPUs.
- Proven ability to work independently on research and technical initiatives.
- Exposure to reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal AI systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, reasoning, and analytical capabilities for complex systems.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical ideas to varied audiences.
