Logistics and Operations Intern

About the internship

This role is for a Logistics and Operations internship with Nearby Cart, an organization that supports e-commerce brands and SMEs through inventory storage, order handling, packaging, and shipping services. The company also runs its own brand, Flash Fix India, and focuses on helping businesses scale through dependable fulfillment support.

What you'll do

• Help improve supply chain workflows so customer orders are delivered on time.
• Work with MS-Excel to study operational data, spot patterns, and suggest process enhancements.
• Coordinate with different teams to simplify operations and improve overall efficiency.
• Stay in touch with vendors and logistics partners to arrange shipments and sort out delivery-related issues.
• Track inventory and assist with stock planning to reduce both shortages and excess inventory.
• Use online resources to look up industry practices and keep pace with logistics developments.
• Support the operations team in routine tasks and any special assignments that come up.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, be able to begin between 10 June 2026 and 15 July 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. This opening is limited to candidates from Alwal only who have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the field. Women who want to begin or restart their careers may also apply.

Other requirements

• Preference will be given to candidates living in or near Alwal for easier commuting.
• The internship is an on-site evening role from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, which suits students attending college during the day.
• Undergraduate and postgraduate students currently studying are welcome to apply.
• Candidates should be ready to join right away.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Experience in operations, logistics, e-commerce, or customer support is an added advantage, though it is not mandatory.

Stipend and payout structure

The stipend is INR 6,000 to 12,000 per month. This includes a fixed component of ₹4,000 to ₹6,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹2,000 to ₹6,000 per month.
