About the internship
This is an in-office internship focused on business development for the corporate gifting segment. The role is centered on identifying potential corporate clients, nurturing leads, coordinating meetings, and supporting the sales team in expanding the client base.
What you will do
- Prospect and connect with corporate leads through multiple outreach channels to create new business opportunities for the gifting vertical.
- Track down, follow up, and engage potential and existing clients via calls, emails, and WhatsApp to strengthen relationships and improve conversions.
- Arrange client meetings and keep detailed, accurate logs of leads, conversations, and follow-ups.
- Develop strong client relationships to better understand gifting needs, preferences, and purchase intent.
- Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and other sales documents used in client presentations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client questions and requirements are addressed promptly.
- Update CRM tools, lead databases, and follow-up trackers to maintain clean reporting and pipeline visibility.
- Research the market to identify promising clients, industry developments, and new business opportunities.
- Assist the sales team in meeting business development goals and growing the corporate gifting customer base.
- Share ideas to help improve lead generation, client engagement, and the broader sales workflow.

Requirements
- Graduate or current undergraduate in any discipline.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable making calls and following up with prospects.
- Well-organized with good multitasking and time management abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and professional email etiquette.
- Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Able to perform well in a fast-paced, target-oriented setting.
Stipend
The internship pays between INR 10,000 and 16,000 per month. The structure includes a fixed component of ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹5,000 to ₹6,000 per month.
Perks and conversion opportunity
Benefits include a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and the possibility of a job offer after successful conversion to a permanent role. If converted, the expected salary is ₹3,00,000 to ₹4,00,000 per year.
