Virtual Project Manager

This opportunity is for a Virtual Project Manager based in the United Kingdom, working with a partner organization that handles the application review and next steps. The role is fully remote and sits at the crossroads of product delivery, education, and business growth. You will take charge of an established online academy and help evolve it into a scalable learning platform with strong real-world impact for entrepreneurs building trade-based businesses.

The position calls for a combination of structured project management and entrepreneurial thinking. You will help shape programs that support learners in starting and expanding businesses, while also improving operations, coordinating remote contributors, and influencing both learner outcomes and commercial performance. The environment is highly virtual and collaborative, with ongoing interaction across instructors, mentors, and other stakeholders.

Core accountabilities

• Take full ownership of the academy platform, managing its development, refinement, and day-to-day operational performance.
• Develop and improve training offerings that help technicians and entrepreneurs launch and grow businesses across several home service categories.
• Organize, guide, and coordinate a distributed group of instructors, mentors, and support personnel to ensure a strong learning experience.
• Support growth in enrollments, learner engagement, retention, and measurable business results through thoughtful program enhancements.
• Create scalable workflows, systems, and operating procedures that can support expansion into new regions and markets.
• Track key metrics, interpret performance data, and implement improvements based on findings and strategic priorities.
• Ensure the academy’s execution remains aligned with the wider business direction while maintaining efficient delivery of daily programs and initiatives.

Requirements

• Background in project management or product management, preferably within EdTech, SaaS, business training, or digital learning settings.
• Proven ability to lead, support, and grow remote or geographically distributed teams.
• An entrepreneurial approach, with experience in or strong interest in building digital products or business education platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills in fast-moving environments.
• Capability to create structured processes, balance multiple priorities, and move initiatives from idea through execution.
• Advantageous experience in trade sectors, vocational learning, or business education tied to real operational businesses.
