Role Overview

Freo Group is seeking experienced riggers to join its shutdown lifting crews across Western Australia. The business is building a dependable team for shutdown work, with regular opportunities across the Pilbara, Goldfields and other regional WA locations. What the Role Involves

The position is focused on safe and efficient rigging within shutdown environments. You will be part of a coordinated crane and rigging crew and expected to contribute to smooth, well-planned lifting operations that are completed correctly the first time.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is an experienced rigger who can work confidently in fast-moving environments, communicate clearly on site and maintain strong situational awareness. A practical attitude, reliability and a commitment to safe work practices are essential.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid High Risk Work Licence for RB, RI or RA
• Background in shutdown, construction or mining work
• Solid knowledge of lifting operations and safe work methods
• Ability to work effectively within a coordinated crane and rigging team
• Good communication and awareness while working onsite
• Current driver’s licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Strong work ethic and a positive, hands-on attitude

Working Style

This is a full-time onsite role supporting shutdown operations in Western Australia.
