Role Overview

The Relationship Manager role is focused on driving sales through assigned channel partnerships by improving product visibility, strengthening relationships, and making sure service expectations are consistently met.

Job Context

This position is responsible for building stronger awareness and trust among channel partners and distributors through frequent engagement. A key part of the role is to ensure quick resolution of issues and keep partners informed about company products and schemes so they can better reach retail and corporate investors.

Major Challenges

• Managing several relationship types at once, each requiring a different style of communication and handling. For example, working with IFAs is not the same as dealing with corporate clients.
• Staying continuously updated on market developments, distributor movements, and changes across debt and equity markets in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans and work toward maximum revenue generation through regular client engagement.
• Collect and evaluate market inputs to identify new prospects, make direct pitches, coordinate with channel partners and corporates, and build relationships that support sales growth.
• Maintain strong client relationships through timely support, consistent visibility, and training-oriented interactions.
• Meet distributors, IFAs, and NDs on a regular basis to strengthen connection and drive engagement.
• Share updates and product-related information promptly so partners remain informed.
• Provide efficient after-sales support and address issues within expected timelines.
• Follow sales processes, reporting standards, and internal audit requirements.
