Overview

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a senior transformation professional to join the Group Transformation Office as Programme Director. The role will lead major change programmes across the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group, supporting large-scale improvement across the system.

This position is suited to someone who has successfully led complex transformation work in healthcare and can balance strategic direction with practical delivery. The focus will include operational recovery, pathway redesign, quality improvement, cost improvement and major service transformation across all three Trusts.

The Programme Director will work with clinical and operational leaders to deliver measurable outcomes, secure benefits, and maintain strong governance across programmes. The post requires a leader who can adapt quickly as priorities change, apply consistent delivery methods, and keep momentum across several workstreams and Trusts.

The role is primarily based in Norwich, with regular travel required to other Trusts, including Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn.
