  • Design and document clear local help desk support processes.

  • Review analytics for inconsistencies, identify possible issues and report findings.
  • Help develop procedures, work instructions, forms and online/blended course materials in line with the organisation’s quality assurance framework.
  • Contribute to better business processes and working practices.
  • Keep knowledge current in relation to online learning products and associated information technology systems.
  • Support transformation and cultural change by modelling the organisation’s values of Showing Initiative, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer and Taking Responsibility.

Selection criteria

  • Experience working in a registered vocational training environment.
  • Proven background in administering and maintaining learning management systems within an education and training setting, including related hardware and software, and using that knowledge to develop online learning products.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, show initiative and remain effective in a fast-moving and changing environment.
  • Strong planning, organising, analytical and problem-solving skills, with evidence of efficient and high-quality delivery.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult widely and work collaboratively to meet team and organisational objectives.
  • Ability to manage personal and team time effectively through scheduling, prioritising and delegating.

Highly desirable

  • Experience in the Australian vocational education and training sector, including knowledge of training packages, units of competency and compliance obligations.
  • Practical experience supporting the development and maintenance of training products and online delivery aligned to training package requirements.
  • Working knowledge of D2L Brightspace (Desire2Learn), including course administration and user support.
