Role overview
We are hiring a Lead Product Designer to drive design work for growth initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of UX, experimentation, and business outcomes, with a strong focus on improving conversion, onboarding, engagement, retention, and monetization. The ideal person is highly analytical, comfortable with hypothesis-led design, and able to translate behavioral insights into scalable growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design efforts aimed at growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue improvement.
- Create and refine conversion funnels from the initial user touchpoint through sustained engagement, while keeping an eye on core metrics such as CAC, LTV, retention, and conversion rates.
- Use design as a lever for experimentation by planning A/B tests, alternative landing pages, onboarding variations, and product experiments that can produce measurable gains.
- Take ownership of important growth journeys, including sign-up, profile completion, subscription conversion, re-engagement, and referral flows.
- Turn user behavior data, cohort analysis, and business goals into design directions that improve outcomes.
- Develop reusable growth design systems, templates, and patterns to support rapid testing and iteration.
- Work closely with Growth PMs, data analysts, and engineers to surface opportunities, prioritize experiments, and evaluate business impact.
- Continuously improve post-launch performance through testing, user feedback, and iterative refinement.
- Help build a culture of experimentation by sharing insights and guiding team members toward growth-oriented design thinking.

Requirements
- Hands-on product design background with a strong focus on B2C products.
- At least 6 years of experience in product design covering both UI and UX, including a minimum of 3 years in B2C companies.
- Strong practical experience using AI-enabled design tools such as Figma Cloud and ChatGPT.
- A portfolio with strong B2C product work and at least two detailed case studies is mandatory.
- Previous experience in B2C product companies is required; prior B2B exposure is acceptable if the company was highly scaled, such as a unicorn.
- Must have shown stability by spending at least 2 years in each previous company.
- At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a design team.
- CV must include a portfolio link with two detailed case studies.
- Compensation includes a 5% variable component.
- Preferred education is from Tier-1 institutions such as IIT, NID, NIFT, or BITS.
- Preferred exposure to subscription-based or marketplace products, conversion rate optimization, and localization for international markets.
- Exposure to AI-driven personalization and recommendation systems is a plus.
- Experience with building or working on highly scaled design systems is preferred.
