About the Role

Kepler Communications is building the future of space connectivity, delivering real-time internet access for space-based assets and enabling data-rich exploration and innovation. The company has launched 33 satellites and operates the first commercial optical data relay constellation, supporting continuous space communications along with on-orbit compute and hosted payload capabilities.

This opportunity sits within a fast-moving manufacturing setting where accuracy, organization, and process improvement are essential. The Inventory Coordinator will help keep inventory records reliable across production and warehouse operations so materials are available when needed and workflows continue without interruption.

Position status: Contingent upon program award.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep inventory data accurate in the ERP system.
  • Complete day-to-day inventory movements such as receiving, issuing, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Carry out kitting for highly sensitive integrated circuits used in circuit board assembly by contract manufacturers.
  • Run cycle counts and help with yearly physical inventory checks.
  • Look into inventory mismatches and determine root causes.
  • Move materials between receiving, warehouse, production, contract manufacturers, and engineering as needed.
  • Keep storage areas orderly, clearly identified, and aligned with company standards.
  • Track stock levels and flag possible shortages or overstock situations.
  • Assist with receiving and logistics tasks when required.
  • Partner with supply chain, production planning, manufacturing, and engineering teams to keep materials flowing.
  • Support segregation of non-conforming material and its inventory disposition.
  • Maintain traceability records, including lot and serial number tracking where applicable.
  • Suggest and help implement process and control improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Strong grasp of inventory control best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools.
  • Willingness and ability to use AI-assisted engineering and development tools to improve productivity, design quality, and innovation while adapting to changing technologies and practices.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience supporting production or high-tech manufacturing environments is an asset.
  • Bonus experience in aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse management practices is an added plus.
  • Understanding of lot and serial number traceability is beneficial.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
