Role Overview
An established hotel in Vermilion, Ohio is seeking a General Manager to guide the team, uphold service standards, and help deliver an excellent guest experience. The role is suited to someone who enjoys developing fresh ideas to improve revenue and fostering strong guest relationships that encourage repeat visits.
Key Duties
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership of the hotel and for maintaining a consistently high level of service quality.
- Lead daily hotel operations and support the team in delivering strong guest service.
- Contribute ideas that can help grow revenue and improve business performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
- Handle HR-related responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
- Assign work, coach team members, provide counseling when needed, and manage performance.
Experience and Profile
The preferred candidate should bring at least 5 years of hospitality experience, with hotel management experience being an advantage. A strong commitment to service excellence is essential.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $58,000 to $72,000.
