Graduate Engineer Trainee

Key Responsibilities

The trainee will contribute to mechanical design and development work, support documentation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help deliver technical solutions.

• Create and plan mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD tools.
• Track the inventory of mechanical parts and confirm availability against the engineering bill of materials.
• Run experiments to evaluate designs and improve them based on results.
• Coordinate with suppliers and take part in DFM reviews.
• Record design iterations, process details, and test findings.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and work instructions.
• Work closely with cross-functional team members and suppliers to deliver solutions.
• Seek guidance and mentoring to strengthen learning and solve problems effectively.
• Continuously build and maintain the competence needed for the role.

Requirements

Applicants should hold a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering. The role also favors individuals who show strong technical potential, take initiative, stay motivated, focus on results, and can manage multiple tasks at once. Good teamwork, coordination, and communication abilities are important, along with clear verbal and written expression.
