General Manager

Role overview

Currys is looking for a General Manager for its Swords store in County Dublin on a permanent, full-time basis. The business is driven by a shared purpose: helping customers enjoy technology and delivering a strong retail experience through a large, dedicated team.

In this position, you will be accountable for leading the store experience, keeping customer needs and team development at the centre of every decision. You will act as the main point of support for your colleagues, helping to guide, coach and develop the store leadership team while ensuring the store runs effectively and performs commercially.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example across the store and support performance and development through the leaders in your team.
• Build a workplace where colleagues feel motivated, supported and able to grow.
• Identify improvements to how the store operates and put new ways of working into practice.
• Set and drive the store strategy to keep the business competitive and forward-looking.
• Own the store’s overall commercial results.
