Role overview
As a full-time General Estimator with SIXT, you will play an important part in Fleet Maintenance operations by checking vendor estimates, keeping the workflow moving, and helping ensure that every estimate is handled accurately. The position involves working in a fast-moving environment, coordinating with rental locations, and supporting management with vendor insights and recommendations.
What you will do
- Review vendor estimates as part of the Fleet Maintenance process and confirm their accuracy.
- Approve or decline estimates and any revised versions based on verification results.
- Work with rental locations by sharing feedback and coaching that helps speed up approvals.
- Keep detailed audit documentation for estimates submitted by third-party vendors and repair shops.
- Evaluate vendor performance data and provide management with summaries and recommendations.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support business priorities.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in repair estimating, ideally using Mitchell Cloud Estimating, CCC, or a similar platform.
- Working knowledge of vehicle salvage is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; an associate’s degree may also be considered when paired with relevant experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Comfort using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and sound decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt, manage several priorities at once, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
