Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai that follows a 6-day work week. The selected candidate will take ownership of the company’s document control function, keeping important records accurate, compliant, organized, and easy to retrieve.

Key duties

  • Create, improve, and keep document control processes and systems up to date.
  • Handle documents throughout their full life cycle, from drafting and review to approval, distribution, and archiving.
  • Make sure records are correctly labeled, stored, and simple to locate when needed.
  • Work with different teams to collect, sort, and manage documentation.
  • Carry out routine checks to confirm that documents are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain revision history and version tracking for controlled documents.
  • Guide employees on document control workflows and good practices.
  • Prepare reports covering document status, compliance, and other relevant tracking data.
  • Support the rollout and upkeep of quality management systems.
  • Ensure document handling follows applicable industry rules and company standards.

Qualifications and experience

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a similar discipline, along with 5 years of experience in document control or a closely related role, ideally within a corporate setting.
