Role overview

Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a Demi Chef to join its kitchen team in Galway. This position sits within a supportive hospitality environment where learning, progression, and internal growth are strongly encouraged. What you will do

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Take guidance from managers and help maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.
• Work in line with the example set by the Head Chef, maintaining strong standards of speed and consistency.
• Follow HACCP rules and food safety procedures at all times.
• Help the wider kitchen team maintain clean and safe practices for food preparation and storage.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a hotel kitchen or a similar culinary position.
• Strong enthusiasm for food and a genuine interest in the culinary field.
• A collaborative attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Comfort working under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good understanding of HACCP requirements and procedures.
