Data Analyst – Healthcare

Role overview

Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst for its healthcare-focused work in the Washington DC–Baltimore area. In this position, you will work with healthcare information to uncover meaningful patterns, support business decisions, and help improve both patient outcomes and operational performance.

What you'll do

• Collect, prepare, and review healthcare-related datasets for analysis.
• Spot patterns and insights across patient records, claims information, and operational data.
• Build dashboards and reports with business intelligence tools.
• Work closely with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders to support shared goals.
• Maintain data quality and follow HIPAA-related compliance expectations.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst.
• Prior exposure to healthcare data is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Excel.

Preferred technical exposure

• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Experience working with EHR or EMR data.
