Key responsibilities

• Develop new patterns and refine existing ones from couture design concepts.

• Produce patterns through both hand methods and digital tools, including CLO3D and Adobe Illustrator.
• Take part in fittings and make pattern changes needed for an ideal silhouette and construction.
• Identify pattern challenges and resolve them effectively.
• Make sure every pattern matches Maison Yeya’s technical standards and luxury aesthetic.
• Keep pattern files and supporting records neatly organized and updated.
• Accurately cut fabrics using approved patterns so pieces are properly prepared for assembly.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in both traditional and digital pattern development.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, draping, and how different fabrics behave.
• Ability to use CLO3D and Adobe Illustrator, or comparable design software.
• Background in fittings, alterations, and couture finishing methods.
• Sharp attention to detail for exact pattern work and fabric cutting.
• Good analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a busy, creative setting.
• Previous exposure to haute couture or luxury fashion work is strongly desirable.
