Role overview

Emirates is seeking cabin crew members who bring a warm presence, adapt quickly to changing situations, and help customers feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey. In this role, you will represent the airline, guide passengers when needed, and contribute to a consistently high standard of service.

This position goes beyond hospitality. Safety remains the top priority, and you will be expected to manage cabin services, security, and safety procedures with confidence. Training is delivered through Emirates’ advanced facility in Dubai.

What the role involves

• Serving as the airline’s front-line representative and assisting customers with direction, support, and service.
• Maintaining a friendly, attentive, and composed approach while working with passengers from diverse backgrounds.
• Handling onboard service duties while keeping safety and security requirements firmly in focus.
• Responding confidently in routine operations and when situations require quick, calm decision-making.
• Working in a demanding schedule and consistently delivering an authentic customer experience.

What Emirates is looking for

• More than one year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
• A positive, service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Comfort working with people from many cultures.
• Minimum education level of Grade 12 / high school graduate.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Height of at least 160 cm, with the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
• No visible tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics.
• Ability to meet UAE employment visa requirements, since the role is based in Dubai.
• Readiness to work a busy and demanding roster.
• A professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan manner that reflects the Emirates brand.

Compensation and benefits

The pay package includes a fixed monthly salary, hourly flying pay, and an overseas meal allowance. The approximate basic salary is AED 4,980 per month, and flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour based on an average of 80 to 100 flying hours per month. The approximate total monthly pay is AED 11,244, which is about USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II (Economy Class).

Meal allowances for overnight stays are added to payroll in arrears during the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transportation to and from the airport.

Location and relocation

Although the opportunity is being promoted for candidates in the Greater Glasgow Area, the role is based in Dubai and includes relocation support.
