Associate Planning Engineer

Role Overview

Parsons is hiring an Associate Planning Engineer for its Doha, Qatar team. This position focuses on building, managing, and improving scheduling and project controls activities across a portfolio of design and construction projects.

What You Will Do

• Support project planning, budgeting, cost phasing, and control from project start through closeout using computer-based tools.
• Track actual progress and measure it against the original schedule and plan.
• Update cost forecasts and cash flow plans as work progresses, then summarize the findings in monthly reports.
• Set up and maintain an Earned Value Management System for the project.

Required Background

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• About 0 or more years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Knowledge and Abilities

• Fundamental engineering understanding in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a similar field.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and tools such as Primavera Project Management/P6, Primavera Contract Management/Expedition, and Power BI.
• Good written and spoken English, along with solid communication and presentation abilities.
