Associate Packager

Role overview

The Associate Packager is responsible for sterile packaging activities and for preparing product packaging and labeling in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Load and remove valves from equipment, operate the equipment, and complete labeling and packaging tasks according to approved work instructions and SOPs.
• Carry out line clearance by checking that all valve serial numbers match the work order, issuing components in JDE, documenting traceability details in device history records, and signing off on work orders.
• Clean and sanitize tools, and pack components or parts before the sterilization stage.
• Handle additional duties such as keeping the work area orderly and moving materials between areas when needed.

Education and experience

A secondary education is required. Previous experience in GMP, clean-room, or medical device environments is preferred, though no prior related experience is necessary.

Additional skills and work expectations

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Comfort using computers and processing transactions in JDE.
• Ability to carry out product packaging tasks.
• Capability to support sanitization processing duties.
• Ability to learn, retain, and apply training for new and advanced procedures.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking ability, along with good communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently by following detailed manufacturing instructions with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a team environment with coworkers and supervisors.
• Willingness to give and receive feedback during sequential work reviews.
• Commitment to company rules and site requirements, including pandemic controls and Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet standards.
