Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Role overview

Rotana Hotels is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining cleanliness, order, and upkeep across the property. This role focuses on making sure cleaning standards are consistently met, work schedules are followed, and housekeeping supplies remain available.

What you will do

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in creating and rolling out cleaning processes and service standards.
• Oversee housekeeping team members and check that daily tasks are completed effectively.
• Review guest rooms and shared spaces to confirm they meet cleanliness expectations.
• Work closely with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
• Address guest complaints and feedback related to housekeeping concerns.
• Track inventory and place supply orders when needed.
• Help train newly hired housekeeping staff.

What we are looking for

• Previous background in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role.
• Solid leadership and communication abilities.
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Comfort working under pressure and managing several priorities at once.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• A housekeeping-related certification is considered an advantage.
