Overview
This opportunity is for an architectural technologist role with Mahi Printing & Signage Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta. The position is full-time and requires work to be performed at the physical workplace.
Language
English is required for this role.
Education
You should have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Experience
Applicants need between 2 and less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Work Location
This is an on-site job. All duties must be completed at the employer's location, with no remote-work option available.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models using computer-aided design software.
- Produce 2D drawings with CAD tools.
- Draft proposals for projects and assignments.
- Review and interpret technical documents and reports.
- Handle tender contract preparation.
- Create detailed working drawings.
- Oversee architectural technical staff.
- Prepare written specifications.
- Track progress and inspect work in progress.
- Calculate material and cost estimates.
- Build architectural and display models.
- Support design development activities.
- Prepare presentation drawings and graphics.
