Kalkiworld — The Fabric Company, operating as The 3D Penguin (Kalkiworld Subsidy), is seeking a proactive Sales & Business Development Intern to help widen its presence in bookstores, gift shops, and premium retail outlets across the city. The role is suited to someone who enjoys direct customer interaction, field exposure, and learning how a retail-focused startup grows.

What you'll do

• Visit bookstores, gift stores, and retail outlets to introduce the brand.
• Present the product range to store owners and decision-makers.
• Gather store-level feedback and useful market observations.
• Track and follow up on trial placements as well as repeat orders.
• Update and maintain the store relationship tracker.
• Work with the founder on pricing decisions and stock coordination.
• Support delivery coordination whenever needed.

Requirements

• Strong and confident communication skills.

Compensation

The internship offers a stipend of ₹11,000 to ₹25,000 per month. The pay structure includes a fixed component of ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month plus incentive pay of ₹1,000 to ₹10,000 per month.
