Visteon is evolving the way it balances talent, cost, and productivity to support the future of work. The Workforce Architecture team sits at the center of that shift, helping leaders decide where to invest, where to optimize, and how to unlock capacity for the priorities that matter most.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys working where data, strategy, and business impact overlap. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and motivated by solving enterprise-level challenges that turn insight into practical action.
Key responsibilities
- Lead AI-driven workforce transformation by maintaining a live Role Risk Register and assessing how automation and AI may affect roles across the organization.

- Define where the organization should hire, invest, or reduce workforce spend to align with business priorities.
- Assess hiring requests against strategic priorities, internal talent availability, and the potential for automation.
- Support leadership in making decisions that improve cost efficiency, productivity, and talent deployment.
- Develop 12–36 month workforce forecasts that combine demand, skills, hiring plans, and attrition trends.
- Share ongoing insights on skill gaps, talent surpluses, and priority hiring needs.
- Create scalable analytics tools that improve the speed and accuracy of workforce planning.
- Drive organization design improvements by reviewing spans, layers, and role alignment.
- Lead optimization efforts that improve productivity, increase capacity, and streamline operations.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, immediate recommendations for business leaders.
First-year outcomes
- Complete an enterprise-wide AI impact review with practical reskilling actions for affected roles.
- Establish a workforce investment framework that highlights measurable optimization opportunities.
- Launch a predictive workforce intelligence capability to support long-range planning.
- Deliver organization design improvements that raise productivity and release capacity.
Measures of success
- Clear visibility into AI-related role risk and effective mitigation execution.
- Visible return on investment and measurable workforce optimization results.
- Forecasting accuracy improved to approximately plus or minus 5%.
- Meaningful redeployment of talent into areas of new business demand.
Candidate profile
The role calls for 10+ years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, or engineering operations. A background in strategy, finance, analytics, or consulting is valuable, especially if paired with strong problem-solving ability. The right person should be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders through concise, data-backed communication and should be capable of weighing scenarios, trade-offs, and financial impact. The focus should remain on business outcomes such as capacity, productivity, and cost efficiency rather than activity-based metrics.
