Program Design Expert

Job purpose

This position focuses on building, refining, and reviewing educational enrichment programs for gifted learners. The work emphasizes curriculum quality, STEM learning, and assessment practices, with the goal of creating learning units, evaluation tools, and performance indicators that match the needs of gifted students, global best practices, and the skills needed for the future.

Program and curriculum development

• Create enrichment programs, curriculum components, learning units, and instructional materials tailored for gifted students.
• Examine learning content to make sure it has strong depth, clear progression, high academic quality, and supports advanced thinking, research, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Confirm that programs and learning resources follow gifted education approaches and approved academic standards.

Assessment and evaluation

• Build and review evaluation tools such as tests, surveys, observation sheets, and pre- and post-assessments.
• Help assess the quality of measurement tools by checking validity, reliability, fairness, appropriateness, and their ability to distinguish between student performance levels.
• Interpret program and assessment outcomes, then prepare technical reports that include actionable suggestions for improvement.

STEM and educational quality

• Contribute to the design and review of STEM learning experiences, with a preference for mathematics-based content.
• Support program improvement by using evaluation indicators and evidence-based recommendations.
• Keep current with developments and proven practices in gifted education, STEM learning, curriculum design, and educational assessment.

Qualifications and experience

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, STEM Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Gifted Education, or a closely related discipline. A master’s degree or PhD in a relevant area is preferred. Candidates should bring at least 7 years of relevant experience in curriculum development, educational program design, assessment and evaluation, STEM education, gifted education, or a similar field. Strong hands-on experience in creating educational content, enrichment programs, learning units, assessment tools, and evaluation indicators is expected. Background in STEM education is required, ideally with mathematics exposure, while experience in gifted education, enrichment initiatives, talent identification, or educational assessment is an advantage.
