Junior Full Stack Developer

About the role

ahead is creating the next wave of better-for-you snacks and is looking for a Full Stack Developer to strengthen the digital systems behind the brand. The role centers on the company’s DTC store, Shopify Plus setup, and internal tooling, with a focus on building solutions that are fast, dependable, and ready to scale.

You will work alongside teams in E-Commerce, CRO, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and IT, turning business ideas into customer-facing improvements and internal efficiencies. This is a hands-on position with a strong sense of ownership and room to contribute directly to growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine the Shopify Plus storefront, including Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, theme structure, and custom features.
• Support work across checkout, cart journeys, third-party apps, and customer-facing experiences.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the everyday workflow to speed up coding, improve delivery, and build automations or internal tools.
• Design and implement A/B tests and conversion-rate improvements together with CRO and E-Commerce stakeholders.
• Contribute to Shopify Plus architecture, including custom apps, Shopify Functions, APIs, tracking setups, and automation flows.
• Improve site speed, stability, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and overall frontend quality.
• Translate cross-functional business needs into practical technical solutions through close collaboration with multiple teams.

What the company is looking for

• 1–3+ years of experience in web development or e-commerce projects, ideally with Shopify Plus, Liquid, theme work, or Shopify APIs.
• Solid command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend development practices.
• Exposure to React, Next.js, Remix, or Tailwind is considered an advantage.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in development is essential, along with the ability to assess and improve AI-generated output.
• Comfort with ownership, independent execution, and turning ideas into shipped work.
• Practical problem-solving approach with the ability to choose between deep solutions and simpler implementations when appropriate.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical colleagues in English.
• Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and turn them into structured solutions.
• Interest in writing maintainable, well-documented code.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and productivity-enhancing technology.
• Motivation to grow into a developer who creates meaningful impact in a fast-changing environment.
