Junior Data Scientist

Role Overview

This is a full-time Junior Data Scientist position with immediate joining, based anywhere in the USA. The role is structured as a W-2 consulting assignment within a fast-growing IT consulting environment. Candidates must already hold USC or Green Card status, and sponsorship is not available.

Experience and Technical Background

The position calls for 1 to 3 years of post-degree experience in data analysis, machine learning, or AI engineering. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Python and SQL, and should have experience building complete end-to-end solutions. Strong hands-on SQL capability is essential.

Preferred Technical Exposure

Applicants with experience in one or more of the following tools and platforms will be preferred: AWS, Azure, Databricks, PySpark, AWS S3, Lambda, EC2, machine learning, GenAI, computer vision, probability concepts, GitLab, R, GCP, and Airflow.

Eligibility and Work Location

Selected candidates must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States based on client project requirements. This is an onsite, in-office role. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field is needed.
