Role Summary

The company is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join its team in Dubai. This position is centered on keeping core IT systems secure, stable, and available, while supporting the organization’s infrastructure, users, and business operations.

What You Will Handle

• Maintain and administer Windows Server environments across versions 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Support virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Set up and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune.
• Oversee local and wide area networks, VPN connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Carry out server patching, backups, disaster recovery activities, and ongoing system monitoring.
• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for infrastructure issues and end-user technical needs.
• Apply cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection measures, and security compliance practices.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures.

Experience and Technical Background

This role calls for 3 to 5 years of practical experience in system administration, networking, and IT infrastructure support. Candidates should be comfortable managing Windows Server environments and core directory/network services, and should have hands-on exposure to virtualization, Microsoft 365 administration, and enterprise networking concepts. Strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, analytical thinking, and disciplined documentation are also important.
