- Track SKU-level changes, ranging plans, new product development timelines, and special business needs such as demand shaping and excess clearance.
- Review forecasts regularly with stakeholders and align them with wider business goals.
- Check SKU readiness and system status in SAP IBP, then complete uploads and approvals according to regional schedules.
- Prepare baseline demand inputs and finalize forecasts for monthly leadership review and sign-off.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply, Finance, Order Management, and Channel Management teams to understand what drives forecast accuracy and inventory requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for demand planning questions and ad hoc requests across the region.
- Partner with market teams to create forecast plans that support product ranging, including new launches and discontinuations.
- Support weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly discussions with market teams, distributors, and business leadership.
Reporting and performance analysis
- Track forecast accuracy and use root-cause analysis to identify gaps, then apply corrective actions where needed.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards that communicate KPIs, insights, and performance trends to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Present forecast updates, risk summaries, constraints, and opportunity areas in monthly IBP/S&OP meetings and Demand Review Meetings (DRM).
Inventory and replenishment support
- Work with Supply Planning and Channel Management to reduce stockouts and lower inventory risk.
- Support allocation activities and ensure demand plans are shaped to match supply and purchase order needs.
- Lead planning for excess depletion, end-of-life SKU management, and demand validation for spares and accessories.
Process improvement and systems expertise
- Drive improvements in demand planning methods, simplify workflows, and raise forecast accuracy.
- Support rollout and day-to-day use of planning tools and technology such as SAP IBP at market and regional levels.
- Keep up with industry best practices and apply them to strengthen regional demand planning capability.
Data management and documentation
- Maintain records of prior forecast submissions and the forecast waterfall, while following process requirements.
- Update trackers for items such as excess stock and new product development.
- Ensure demand forecasts are uploaded accurately and on time in each cycle, following global demand process guidelines.
