Ryan Companies US, Inc. is hiring immediately for a Data Analyst to work from its Minneapolis corporate headquarters. This is an in-office position supporting the data and analytics requirements of construction teams, with emphasis on scheduling and field operations. The role is centered on uncovering useful patterns and connections across company data to help teams make better business decisions.

What you will do

• Support analytics for construction field operations, including scheduling and safety across all regions and product lines.
• Become the go-to person for datasets tied to scheduling and field execution.
• Help the Scheduling team clean up and organize project data after completion for archiving.
• Create, test, maintain, and train others on dashboards that communicate analysis and trends.
• Structure data for quick access, ease of use, flexibility, and accuracy, while spotting patterns that guide key operational decisions.
• Improve data collection practices by suggesting process changes, workflow updates, and system or tool enhancements that raise data quality.
• Maintain strong data accuracy through validation, cleansing, enrichment, and attention to privacy and security requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow analysts and technology partners in a team-based environment.
• Partner with business leaders to understand analytics needs and provide recommendations that support decision-making.

What you need

• A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, or a related business discipline.
• Three to five years of analyst experience or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, SQL-based querying, and data interpretation.
• Strong communication abilities, comfort working through ambiguity, and the ability to learn in a fast-moving collaborative setting.

Preferred strengths

• Background in construction operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of data modeling methods and database design principles.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to find new ways to improve and innovate.
• Ability to connect emerging technology with organizational needs.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this role is between $85,000 and $100,000. Actual pay may vary within that range depending on location, the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also qualify for additional pay such as commission and/or an incentive program.
