Overview
Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is hiring a Client Services Associate to join its Client Engagement and Communication team in Kingston. This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to build a career in a stable and expanding financial services environment.
Role summary
The position focuses on the day-to-day handling of cheque printing, preparation, dispatch, and related reporting activities. You will also support process improvements and help maintain accurate payment and cheque-management records.
Key duties
- Open and close the cheque printing systems each working day.
- Prepare and send provider and member claim cheques through the GIAS System, including GEASO, GPASO, and Group Accounts.
- Process and dispatch Accounts Payable cheques generated through the SUN system.
- Support the distribution of Capsil cheques for clients who are waiting.
- Ensure other policy cheques are completed and delivered to the relevant departments.
- Collect and organize data needed for cheque report preparation.
- Help simplify cheque-related workflows and contribute input for documenting procedures and roles.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, ACCA Level 1, AAT Level 11, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
