Role overview
Equans is hiring a Caretaker for Marsden Heights Community College, Edge End Ln, Nelson BB9 0PR. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5-hour working week. The annual salary is £25,954.50, along with a benefits package.
Working pattern
- Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- Monday to Friday, subject to change: either 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Key purpose of the role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school premises, focusing on caretaking services and building a strong working relationship with the school and community groups. The role requires maintaining a consistently high standard of service and supporting the Area Supervisor with delivery of the Project Agreement requirements.
Main duties
- Oversee daily caretaking operations across the school premises.
- Work closely with the school and local community groups to support smooth site operations.
- Ensure services are delivered to a high and consistent standard.
- Support the Area Supervisor in fulfilling the Project Agreement obligations.
Checks and compliance
This position requires DBS clearance, so the ability to pass a DBS check is essential. You must also have evidence of the right to work in the UK. A relocation package is not available for this role.
