Role Overview

XPT Software Australia is looking for an AI Developer to join its Sydney-based team. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on building and integrating AI-driven solutions, with an emphasis on orchestration, reusable capabilities, and prompt-driven workflows.

Core Technical Focus

Hands-on work with MCP and tool integration.
Designing intelligent agents and the logic that drives them.
Creating reusable skills or actions that can be applied across workflows.
Coordinating agent-to-agent (A2A) orchestration.
Structuring prompts effectively for reliable model behaviour.
Working with Python and SQL as part of the implementation stack.

Preferred Experience

Experience using LLM APIs and connecting them with user interfaces is an advantage.
Exposure to the market risk domain will be considered a strong plus.

Technical Environment

Unix knowledge is part of the expected technical environment for this position.
