Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Mysore for a Social Media Manager. The person in this role will oversee Cblock’s activity across major social networks by planning and posting content every day, keeping track of audience engagement, and responding to comments and messages. The job also includes building and running social media campaigns, improving post performance and reach, and making sure content supports the wider marketing and brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires close coordination with design, marketing, and leadership teams to keep the brand voice consistent and to support announcements related to products, campaigns, and the company as a whole. You will also monitor important performance indicators, create regular reports, and use the insights to improve content strategy and publishing schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should bring solid experience in social media marketing and optimization, with hands-on exposure to managing brand pages across several platforms. Strong writing and communication skills are important, along with the ability to adjust messaging and tone for different audiences and channels. Experience in content planning is valuable, including building editorial calendars, supporting campaigns, and tying content to business goals. The role also calls for the ability to review metrics, understand performance trends, and turn that data into practical improvements. Familiarity with scheduling and social media management tools, plus basic knowledge of tools such as Canva or simple video/photo editing, will be an added advantage. Good organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines in a busy environment are also important. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. Previous work in social media, digital marketing, or community management is an advantage.
